alright so regardless, this basically just ensured that this entire time, the writers have wanted kurt and blaine to have a future together. they want them to get married and have a family and grow old together. even though the scene didn’t air, it was written and with the “you’re the love of my life, kurt” and kurt’s bit about growing old with blaine? yeah kurt and blaine in their 30s with kids and wedding bands on their fingers? it’s pretty much canon.
